We're looking for a Business Development Lead to take the reins at a fast-moving, mission-driven startup that was recently featured on Shark Tank and backed by Mark Cuban. We’ve been flooded with inbound from partners looking to bring ESAI’s AI-driven storytelling support for college admissions to their students at scale.
We need a leader who’s passionate about building and owning relationships with schools, nonprofits, government programs, and enterprise partners—and who’s ready to take us from a consumer company that accepts inbound sales requests, to a social company with a repeatable, outbound, B2B2C sales function.

ESAI is building a mission-critical storytelling platform for Gen Z — helping craft compelling essays, discover the right colleges, explore scholarships and majors, and ultimately learn more about themselves starting with the the college admissions process. More about us:



This is a high-impact, high-ownership role focused on developing and scaling ESAI’s institutional partnerships. You’ll own the full business development lifecycle—from identifying and pitching high-potential leads, to closing deals, onboarding partners, and defining our playbook for repeatability.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and be a critical driver of revenue growth, social impact, and market expansion. And you’ll help shape how we think about pricing, packaging, customer success, and more.
